Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This page lists every cookie and tracker used by Weddings.help and explains how you can control them. It complies with article 22 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) Cookie Guide of November 2023.

1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to remember information about your visit (preferences, session, etc.). The term "cookies" in this policy also covers similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags.

2. How do we ask for your consent?

The first time you visit weddings.help (or any *.weddings.help subdomain), a banner is displayed where you can choose between three equivalent options: Accept all, Reject all, or Configure. No analytics or marketing cookies are set until you click "Accept all" or grant the corresponding category in "Configure". Google Consent Mode v2 is initialised with all signals denied by default before any Google tag loads.

You can change your decision at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the website to function (authentication, security, remembering your consent choice, accessing a password-protected wedding website). They cannot be disabled. Legal basis: article 22.2 LSSI-CE.

Analytics. Help us understand how the website is used (which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, where they come from) so we can improve it. They only activate with your explicit consent.

Marketing. Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (e.g., conversions from Meta ads). They only activate with your explicit consent.

5. International transfers

Where a cookie or tracker transfers data outside the European Economic Area (mainly Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, to the United States), the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision.

6. How to manage cookies in your browser

In addition to the consent panel of weddings.help, you can configure cookies directly in your browser:

Rejecting cookies does not prevent you from using the site, but some features may be limited (for example, you may need to log in again more often).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The version in force is the one published at this URL with the "Last updated" date above.
