Honeymoon packing checklist and budget (free PDF)
Honeymoons get planned at the worst possible moment: exhausted, with the wedding looming and the feeling that you have already made too many decisions. That is exactly how the plug adapter, the travel insurance or telling the bank get forgotten.
This guide solves the two things that actually matter before you leave: what goes in the bag, and what the trip will really cost.

Frequently asked questions
When should you book the honeymoon?
Six to seven months before the wedding, at the same time as you check passports and visas. If the destination is far or needs vaccines, do it earlier: some vaccination courses take several weeks and certain visas take longer than you would expect.
How much does a honeymoon cost?
It depends so much on destination that averages mislead. What helps is budgeting by category (flights, accommodation, food, activities, local transport, shopping, insurance) and adding a 10-15% buffer. The two lines that always overrun are restaurants and tours booked once you are there.
What must not be missing from the bag?
The four most forgotten: a universal plug adapter, travel insurance actually purchased, mosquito repellent, and your regular medication in your hand luggage. With those sorted, the rest can be bought there.
Should you tell your bank before travelling?
Yes, and it is the single admin task that prevents the most grief. Many banks block cards on a foreign charge. Give them your dates and destination, and carry a second card from another bank just in case.
What if you did not have to print anything?
Guests, seating, budget, tasks, vendors and your wedding website, all connected and updating themselves. Try it for 7 full days, no card needed.
